This Hand-Carved Baltic Amber Grizzly Bear Sculpture is formed from a striking piece of amber with a vivid tangerine-yellow base, layered with deeper golden, maroon and purple-toned hues. As the light changes, the colour shifts dramatically, revealing different levels of warmth, transparency and depth.

The bear is individually carved to bring out its seated form and textured features, while the natural character of the amber ensures that no two sculptures are ever exactly alike.

At approximately 40mm high and 17.6g, this piece has a little more presence than many miniature amber figurines, making it particularly well suited to display, gifting or collecting.

A Note on Natural Amber

One of the most beautiful qualities of Baltic amber is the way it responds to light. This sculpture may appear brighter and more golden in daylight, while warmer indoor lighting can bring out its deeper amber, maroon and purple undertones.

Because every piece of amber forms naturally, slight variations in hue, transparency, inclusions and carving are expected. The sculpture received may therefore differ subtly from the example photographed.
