A tiny hand-carved hedgehog brought to life in natural Baltic amber.

This Hand-Carved Baltic Amber Hedgehog Sculpture is individually shaped from genuine cognac-coloured amber, with warm undertones of tangerine yellow, Venetian red, rich gold and deeper orange-red hues that become more pronounced as the surrounding light changes.

Despite its miniature scale, the carved form gives the hedgehog plenty of character, while the natural translucency and colour variation of Baltic amber makes every piece subtly different.

At approximately 19mm high, it is a wonderfully delicate collectible — ideal as a small display piece, thoughtful amber gift or addition to a growing collection of hand-carved Baltic amber animals.

A Note on Natural Amber

Baltic amber can look noticeably different depending on the light around it. Bright daylight may emphasise its golden and tangerine tones, while warmer indoor lighting can reveal deeper cognac and reddish hues.

Because amber is a naturally formed material, small differences in transparency, colour, inclusions and carving are expected. Each hedgehog is therefore genuinely individual.
